Clarinet Method - From the first approaches to some of the fundamental techniques for studying the instrument.
This work is the result of my personal experience first as a pupil, then as a teacher. In fact, when I took my first steps in the study of the clarinet, with seriousness and constancy, I realized some difficulties that arose in practicing the instrument and I often noticed that my teacher, Giovanni De Falco, an exceptional clarinet player, to make them overcome wrote about the appropriate exercises; moreover, he often made me study with him, leading me step by step towards the solution of the problem. Building on these teachings, over the years and helped by the study of composition, I also started writing exercises aimed at overcoming the difficulties that my students encountered. In this way the present work came to light. It is divided into ten teaching units in which I have tried to touch the topics necessary to be able to independently perform pieces of medium difficulty. As I gradually inserted some elements of musical theory that gave the possibility to understand and interpret some signs of musical grammar.
