Music education is a complex and multifaceted process in which theoretical knowledge, perceptive skills, and performance abilities inextricably contribute to a musician's growth. Although, for organizational and educational reasons, these areas are often treated as autonomous disciplines, musical experience demonstrates how they actually constitute complementary aspects of a single educational path.
This volume was born from the desire to offer an integrated vision of musical learning, in which the various areas constantly interact. The goal is not only to provide specific content and knowledge, but to highlight the profound connections between musical knowledge and music-making.
