The trumpet is the protagonist of this story contained in this work in which the treatises, methods and studies that internationally renowned authors have written for this noble and ancient instrument are illustrated. Starting from an excursus on the history of the trumpet and its main characteristics, we will analyze the particularities that different and well-known authors put on paper regarding the didactic aspects of the instrument, both within the borders of the countries beyond the Alps and in the national ones.
