The proposal of themes that identify the facts and characters of William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet is particular and very intense, from the introductory theme in F sharp minor that represents the lovers' ally, the dark and thoughtful Friar Lawrence, to the "combative" theme, the cheerful one, which interprets the family feud between the Montagues and the Capulets, passing through the very famous love theme between Romeo and Juliet, a theme of an emotional power like few others and not by chance used as the soundtrack of various films and television series in the years that followed.
